I adore the bunnies in Eggtastic and really wanted to show some different ways to use some of the new dies as well, which resulted in this fairly simple Easter card.
I started off by stamping and coloring in the cute bunny painting the little egg and cut it out using the matching die.
Then I cut out the two long sides of the rectangle from Slim Fancy Fench, which gave me two cute lace pieces. For the scene between the two lace pieces I used a piece of blue cardstock as the sky, then cut out the Rolling Waves clouds from white cardstock and the hills from green cardstock. I trimmed all of the pieces down to 1 ½ inches in width and added them to the card.
I added the flowers and butterflies from Slim Window Dressing to the grass and the sky, then I added the bunny.
For the sentiment I stamped out the Happy Blessings sentiment, but only the “blessings” bit and then traced it with a gold gel pen (I would have heat embossed it, but my heat gun broke), then I cut it out using my scissors. For the “happy” part of the sentiment I stamped the happy from Happy Easter and cut that out to a little rectangle label. I added both pieces of the sentiment to card using a bit of foam tape.
