I really loved how different the new Snowy Tree stamps are – and how easy they are to make simple but elegant cards with! Perfect for all the holiday cards!
I really wanted the tree to be the main focus, so I decided to gold heat emboss it on some white cardstock – and added a few extra gold embossing sprinkles around the tree to create little snowflakes around it.
Then I trimmed that white and gold panel down to 3 ¾ x 5 inches. I also cut another layer from green cardstock to 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 inches and added the tree on top. Then I used a gold gel pen to outline the white panel – adding a fake gold layer if you like. I added all of these layers to a white card base.

For the sentiment I white heat embossed one of the Snowy Tree sentiments on a piece of red cardstock. Then I cut that out to be a little banner and cut an extra from the same green cardstock as the layer. First I added the green banner to the card and then the red banner slightly offset from the green one. At the edge of the card I glued it down, but towards the end of the banner I used a foam square to pop it up.
Finally I trimmed off the banner pieces hanging over the edge of the card.
Your card is so gorgeous! I love this stamp set and the tree looks wonderful embossed in gold. 🙂
