Stamp Highlight | Hot Cocoa

What’s cuter than Mama Elephant critters? Mama Elephant critters in cups! 

I like giving little hostess gifts when I visit friends and family – especially during the holidays – So I really wanted to create some cute packaging for some hot cocoa kits I like. 

I started by stamping and coloring the images from Hot Cocoa using my copics – I made sure to make plenty of marshmallows and leaves. Then I cut all of them out using the matching dies. 

For the Favor Bag I cut out the two main pieces from red cardstock and assembled them as much as I could while still keeping the bag flat, i.e. I didn’t fold the bottom in. 
I cut the Favor Bag rectangle from a piece of white cardstock and stamped one of the Hot Cocoa sentiments at the top of it using a matching red ink. I used a gold gel pen to draw along the stitching lines on both the white rectangle and the favor bag, then I added this rectangle to the front of the bag using foam tape. 

Then I added the Reindeer cup to the bottom of the rectangle using foam squares, leaving space to tuck marshamallows and leaves behind it – for the final marshmallows I also used foam squares. 

The last thing that’s needed now is filling it with tasty hot cocoa kits and bring joy to someone you love!
