Anyone else been WISHING for dinosaurs from Mama Elephant?! Not only are they finally here – they’re (as always) sooo much cuter than I would have imagined them! (also yay for the scene building bits in Me and My Dinosaur!)
For my project today I wanted to try having some fun with some see through card ideas.
I got myself some heat resistant acetate and roughly ¼ inch from the bottom of a 4 ¼ x 5 ½ inch pieces I stamped and heat embossed some of the scenery pieces from the Me And My Dinosaur, since I wanted to try and mimic a starry sky, I sprinkled some fine white embossing powder and some ultra high silver embossing powder over the top too.
I folded the acetate in half and added white cardstock to the bottom to get a full A2 size card.
Then I stamped one of the dinosaurs with fadeout ink and colored it in using Copic markers, then cut it out with the matching die. If you want to cover up the back you can cut an extra from white cardstock.
I also white heat embossed one of the sentiments on some black cardstock.
I glued the dinosaur and the sentiment onto the card over the see through area. Add the extra die cut to the back if you want to cover it up.
