Stamp Highlight | Corner Flowers

I LOVE the new Corner Flowers stamps – once I started stamping and coloring them I almost couldn’t stop!

For my card today I’ve added the flowers to some geometric shapes for a clean modern design. I can’t wait to repeat it in my scrapbooking with a picture added as one of the geometric shapes.

To create my geometric shapes, I simply added strips of 1/8 inch double sided tape to my card base, making sure I had somewhere to place my flowers. Then I pulled off the backing on the tape and added my embossing powder to it then melted it carefully. If you don’t like the texture the embossing powder gets when added with the tape, you could use a versamark pen instead to draw in your lines.

I stamped and colored two corner flower clusters, cutting them out with a little white border around them. If you want to see which colors I used, you can find a color map at the bottom of this post.

To figure out where I wanted to place my sentiment I temporarily placed my flowers, then stamped the sentiment from Everyday Greetings where it would not be covered up by any of the flowers.

All that was left to do then, was adding  the flowers to the card with some foam squares.
