Anyone else loving the super adorable Halloween critters from Happy Haunting? I really wanted to make a scene for the little witch and her friends, but instead of making it a one layer scene like I usually do, I made a background for them and popped the images up over it.

I started by stamping and coloring the images from Happy Haunting before cutting them out with the matching dies.
Then I stamped and colored the trees and mountains from Scene Builder on a piece of white cardstock and added the moon from Little Agenda Spaceship. All of this needed no masking, so for one of my scenes, it’s fairly simple.

Then I added some white pieces of cardstock framing the top and bottom of the scene piece. I used foam tape to add these as it gives the card a bit of dimension, almost like you’re looking inside a window. Don’t be like me and forget to stamp the sentiment before you add it with foam tape – do it before you tape it down. I cut this panel down to be 4 x 5 1/4 inches so I could add it onto a piece of black and white striped cardstock.
