I love the Mixed Holiday Greetings, so I am very happy to have similar sentiments to use for so many occasions!
For this project, I cut out the Slim Scenescape Builder pieces to create a blue box and used the small clouds to decorate the front of the tall section . For the three layers inside the box I used the tall piece from the Slim Scenescape Rainbow Add, which I cut the top off using the cloud border from Slim Card Basics, making sure to shift it slightly each time I cut it.
The sun is also from the Slim Scenescape Rainbow Add die set, and I simply cut the sun pieces from yellow cardstock and added some shading with my copics. To put together the pieces, there’s the slightly bigger sun die, which I cut from acetate. Then I glued on the sun and the rays before adding it to the third layer inside the box.
I stamped and colored the images from Carried Away, using one of the Mixed Wishes Greetings sentiments inside the balloon, then cut them out with the matching dies.
Finally, I used acetate strips to glue the ballon to the second layer inside the box, and the girl to the first layer. To connect the two, I simply glued a bit of string behind the balloon and the girl’s hand.
