I can’t be the only one who is obsessed with unicorns – or have people who love them. 
My sister absolutely LOVE them – especially with holographic elements, so for my stampede project I decided to make her very happy and make some holographic unicorn tags. 

I started by cutting out the Buildabanner – Pennant flags, the full one from white cardstock and the one with the window from holographic cardstock. 
Since I only wanted one hole in the tag, I cut two toppers for each tag using the scallop strip die from Frilly Window Frame from mint green cardstock.

For the sentiments I used the new Mixed Wishes Greetings and some mint colored ink. I placed the holographic piece on top of the white flag and made sure I stamped the sentiment roughly in the middle of the opening. 

I glued together the very tops of the white and holographic tags. I just used some 1/8 inch double sided tape. Then I added the little Frilly Window Frame topper pieces so they just covered the holes in the pennants. Then I used a circle hole punch to make a hole in the middle of the toppers and tied in my string.

Finally, I stamped and colored a whole bunch of Little Unicorn Agenda images and cut them out with the matching dies. To do this a very easy way, is to place the die inside your stamp platform (I used a mini MISTI) with the cutting side down. Then you can place the stamps inside the matching die like little puzzle pieces. When you are done, you simply close the lid of your stamp platform and pick up the stamps, then remove the dies. Now you can stamp as many as you need and color them in.

 This also means you don’t have to cut apart all the little dies and keep track of them. When you get to cutting out the images, you simply place all the dies over the images again and use some tape to keep it in place when running it through your machine. 

All that was left to do was choose a unicorn and glue it to the holographic pennant.
