The new Apron Treat Bag is simply too cute! Especially for homemade gifts such as baking, little jars of jam or maybe even little crochet projects for the kitchen!
For today’s stampede I decorated it like one of my childhood aprons using the strawberry stamp from the Milkshake stamp set.

I started by cutting out the two treat box pieces, and while they were still flat I stamped a whole bunch of strawberries only on the front and back sections. I also masked off the little scallop edge along the top of the bag so I could color in the edge using a red color. I colored in all the little strawberries super quickly.
Then I cut out the pocket piece and stamped a sentiment from Baked with Love on it, leaving room for a little strawberry in one of the corners.

Then all I needed to do was assemble the treat bag, which is super easy, as you can see in Rina’s video on the Mama Elephant Youtube channel.
To finish off the project I cut out the whisk and rolling pin and stuck them in the pocket with a gift card.

Ahh, this is so cute! I love the little strawberry pattern. It makes me think of the homemade strawberry jam my grandmother used to make. This would make such a fun card to give to her.
