When I saw the new Stitch Icon Tags I knew they would make super cute simple tags with the new Little Gnome Agenda – but, I rarely have the time to sit down and do some stitching, so rather than stitch them all up, I simply used a marker to add in the lines. Super quick, easy and perfect if you’re not great friends with a needle and thread.
So I cut out three of the tags with the heart shapes from kraft cardstock and drew in my lines using a red marker. At the bottom of the tag I stamped one of the sentiments from Holiday Messages in red ink, matching the red marker.
Then I cut three of the bigger tag from red cardstock that matches the red marker and punched holes in them using a 1/8 inch circle punch, making sure they lined up with the holes in the “stitched” tags.

If you’ve seen the pile I tend to color when a new Little Agenda is release, you probably know I have a whole little box of them ready, so I simply picked out a few of them and glued on top of the hearts.
A nice little trick if you want to make a whole pile of Gnomes like I did, is to keep the matching dies as one big piece. Then using your stamping tool, e.g. MISTI, you can place the dies inside, and add in the stamps like little puzzle pieces, they’ll simply sit perfectly inside the dies. Then you pick up the stamps and remove the dies. This means you can stamp as many pieces of cardstock as you want and die cut all the gnomes at the same time, using the die as one big die.
