The sleigh riders and friends from Dashin Thru the Snow are simply too adorable, so I really wanted to create a fun card for them.
I used the scalloped rectangle from Slim Window Dressing to create a base for my card – just one layer, so it doesn’t open up. Then I used the hill die from the Slim Card Basics to cut two snowy hills, both longer than the plain rectangle from Slim Window Dressing.

I used a score board to make a flap on each of the hills, gluing them to the back of a the plain rectangle and trimming off the excess from the hills, which I had cut from light blue cardstock. This creates a tri-fold card where I can add the cute animals. I glued the blue rectangle to the scallop rectangle.

I decided only to use two of the images, so I stamped, colored and cut them out using the matching dies, which I also used in white cardstock to create a backer for the images to hide the coloring bleed through. I glued one image to each hill, making sure not to glue them to the blue rectangle. Then I glued the backer pieces behind the images and the back of the hills.

For the sentiment I used one of the long messages from Merry Christmas Wishes at the bottom of the first hill. You could stamp another sentiment on the second hill too, but I wanted to leave room for a personal message instead.

Finally I used a white gel pen to draw in snow falling on the blue rectangle, making sure to leave room at the bottom for a message.
