I always get really excited when I see stamps that are perfect for little scenes. Today I’ve kept it “simple” by using just two main stamp sets – Sincerely Yours and Toasty Friends.
I used the largest Basic Rectangles die to create the front of my card – this ensures that the front is actually the right size and not wonky before stamping.
I started off by stamping the bunny kids and the three stockings on masking paper and cutting them out, then stamped them and applied the masks before stamping the rest of the images.
If you start off by stamping your entire scene on a scrap piece of paper it’s easy to align the images in the right places.
Then I colored in the scene using my Copic markers – you could mask off the images and ink blend the floor and wall instead of coloring it all in. For my sentiment, I cut out the Family Script die and stamped the rest of the sentiment using alphabet stamps above and below the Family text.
Then all that was left to do was glue the card front to my card base.
