Today we’re highlighting one of my other favorite stamp sets from this release – Mixed Holiday Greetings!
I love the combination of “plain” text and the script fonts – So I thought I’d highlight them by keeping the rest of my project simple, so I went for some easy tags.
I started by cutting of bunch of black, white and grey strips using the Quick Stripes dies. I added all these strips to pieces of printer paper to make my own striped paper. Then I cut the tags using the Artist Mat dies from these pieces of striped paper and from white cardstock, which I glued to the back of the striped pieces.
Then I used the inside rectangles from the filmstrip die in Slim Film City to stamp my sentiments on. Then I layered these pieces on gold cardstock which I cut to leave only a tiny border around the white rectangle, then added it to the striped pieces.
To decorate the tags I used the branches from Winter Taggins dies and the bow from the Basic Set dies. I cut the branches in two different colors and cut off the hole reinforcer bit, then added it to the bottom of the white rectangle and placed the bow on top.
