Today’s highlight is the new Slim Film City creative cuts. I decided to combine it with the previously released Little Santa Agenda.
I really wanted to create a little story using the film strip, so I cut out out of my Neenah cardstock, and on the image rectangles, I stamped my littles scenes.
I used the Little Santa Agenda first and masked them off, and then stamped the images from Snow Globe Scenes and Snow Globe Bitties behind them. On the two with the outdoor scenes I stamped the little moon from Scene Builder and colored all of them in.

I cut the postage stamp rectangle from some white cardstock and masked off the edges. Then I ink blended a red background using Abandoned Coral and Candied Apple Distress Oxide inks. I splattered the background with a little bit of water to make it more interesting. I cut the film strip several times from my white cardstock and once from gold. I layered all of these together to create one thick piece, which I glued on top of my postage stamp rectangle. Since the rectangles I used for the little scene was originally cut by the die, I could simply inlay them inside the film strip and glue the entire thing to the grey cardbase.
For my sentiment I used the Letterboard creative cuts to make a golden HO for each of the little scenes. I also stamped Merry Christmas from Holiday Messages on some white cardstock and cut it out into a little label, which I glued to the bottom of the film strip.
