Such a nice surprise for July! For my stampede project, I’ve used the new Slim Film City creative cuts, which I thought would make a great scene for the previously released Tiny Heroes Stamps.
I cut the cloudy scalloped rectangle from Slim Film City twice from blue cardstock to work as the base for my card by gluing two short edges together. I also used the same die to cut a white and a grey piece. I cut the grey piece using the city border from Slim Film City, and for the white piece I used the cloudy border from Slim Card Basics. Make sure the clouds are showing behind the city and glue them down to the blue piece.
To create my sentiment, I cut out “Super hero” using the Whimsy Alphas dies, once from gold glitter cardstock and twice from white cardstock. I layered each gold letter on top of two white ones and glued it down over the city. To complete the sentiment, I used a part of one of the sentiments in the Tiny Heroes stamp set.
I stamped and colored one of the heroes from Tiny Heroes as well as the hero dog from Little Dog Agenda.
To finish off the card, I added little iridescent star sequins scattered around the background.
