Stamp Highlight | Zodiac Pig

Today we’re playing with the new Zodiac Pig stamps, which I think are totally cute. I created this shaker card for my mom (she used to work with pigs) using the adorable piggies and the new Four Window Cover.

I started by stamping and coloring all the Zodiac pigs and the little balloon. I surprised myself and colored them using my Polychromos pencils instead of my Copics, and then cut them out using the matching dies. I cut the Four Window Cover from some light blue cardstock and added acetate and foam tape to the back of it, creating four little spaces for the sequins, and filled it up with gold, blue, and clear sequins, and of course some tiny pink hearts.

Then I mounted the window to my card base, which is the same light blue color as the window piece. When it is a full front shaker like this, I typically place the window piece inside my stamping platform and use the corner to perfectly line up the card base – maybe that’s a trick that could work for you too.

Then I cut out the banner from the Basic set and stamped the Missing you pig time sentiment on it. I foam mounted the banner in the middle of the card, folding in the ends for a cute 3D banner.
Then I added the two pigs to the top, making sure they were far away from each other, and then the two at the bottom having a party being together again.
