When I saw the new Zodiac Dogs stamps – I couldn’t help but see bigger chubbier versions of the Little Dog Agenda cuties – so of course I HAD to combine the two!
I used the Little Dog Agenda and the bone from Zodiac Dog to create my own patterned paper for the background of the card. I colored it before cutting it out with the rectangle from Delancey Creative Cuts. If you want to see which Copic colors I used, you can find the color map at the bottom of the post.
I also stamped and colored one of the Zodiac Dogs and an extra bone, then cut them out with the matching dies. I heat embossed one of the sentiments from My Pet Puppies on a piece of vellum and cut it out using the oval in the Sky Bursters dies.
For my card base I cut two of the scalloped rectangles from the new Frilly Window Frame dies, scored one of them at ½ inch and glued them together on the little flap.
All that’s left to do is assemble the card – simply adhere your “patterned paper” inside the embossed rectangle on your scallop card base. Then use the Zodiac Dog to hide the glue you need to adhere the vellum. I also added teeny tiny dots of glue behind the heat embossed sentiment to help the vellum stay down.
