The Boba Tea stamp set is soooo cute – just look at that kitty sitting in the cup!
For my project, I created some little gift card holders with the cute animals playing around with drinks.
I started my project by stamping the scenes on a pieces of Neenah cardstock that measures 4 ¼ by 2 ¾ inches. I masked the cup so I could stamp the little boba behind it and a few of the single boba. Then I used a copic multiliner to draw a line approximately 7/8 inch from the bottom.
I also stamped my sentiment using a copic safe ink, as I want to color part of the background.
Then I colored in the scene, making my background fade out to white so the color is focused around the cups. To see which colors I used, I’ve added a color map at the bottom of this post.
For the gift card holder itself I cut a piece of white cardstock to 5 7/8 by 4 ¼ inches and scored and folded it at 2 ¾ inches. This gave me a little edge at the bottom that sticks out. This is where I cut my little tab, which is needed to hold the card closed. I used my hobby knife, but if you have the Framed Tags – Waverly dies, you can use that to make the notch for the card and the notches to hold the gift card too. Since I don’t have it (yet!), I simply cut two slits to hold my gift card.
To make the gift card holders a little cuter, I used my Copic markers to color the bottom ½ inch where the notch is. Make sure to color the back too as the markers will probably bleed through.
Then all you have left to do is glue the scene to the front of the gift card holder and add the gift card!
