Aren’t the bunnies from Zodiac Rabbit just too cute?!
I can imagine so many great spring and Easter cards using these cubby bunnies, however, I thought I’d do a birthday card for today’s highlight project.
I stamped the bunny directly on my card, but if you want to make sure the coloring can’t be seen from inside the card, you might want to stamp it on a different piece of cardstock and add that to your card base instead. I used the Fadeout ink, so I could do no line coloring on my bunny with my Copics.
Then I added my sentiment, which is the Birthday from Scripty Bday, and the Hoppy from Zodiac Rabbit. Both are part of a larger sentiment, but I simply only inked up the part I wanted, but you could also cut your stamps apart.

For the background, I used circle dies and stencils to add the circles. Since Copic colors become darker the more layers you add, I only used one marker to create the different blues.
Since I wanted my bunny to really stand out, I used a while gel pen to draw around it where the blue “bubble” was touching it, and then I did the same for the sentiment.
The final touch was adding a few clear sequins to the bubbles.
