Stamp Highlight | Cherry Blossom Branch

I wanted to challenge myself and do some Polychromos pencil coloring on this card. 

I started off by gold heat embossing the flower branch on a piece of Simon Says Stamp Peacock cardstock. 

Then I pulled out my colored pencils and added the white and pink to the flowers (pencils 125, 130, 132 and 101), and gold pencil (250) to the branches. 

I cut down the peacock panel to 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 inches. Behind it I added a 4 x 5 ¼ inches of white cardstock, where I had gold heat embossed the edges. Both of these layers I added to a white card base. 

For my sentiment I gold heat embossed one of the sentiments from the Cherry Blossom Branch set, above it I added the Celebrate Script die cut, which I also gold heat embossed to keep the golden color the same.
