Stamp Highlight | Zodiac Mouse

Isn’t the images from Zodiac Mouse just too cute?!

I really wanted to make a small card using the Fortune Envelope and the Zodiac Mouse.

I Started my card off with making a galaxy background using my watercolors and splattered it with white and silver to create the stars. Then I cut it down to fit behind the small scallop square from the Fortune Envelope dies. When the background was COMPLETELY dry, I silver heat embossed one of the sentiments from Wishful Taggins on it.

Then I cut the scallop square, with the heart in the middle, from light blue cardstock and ink blended some stars on it using a stencil.

Then I stamped and colored my mouse and added it to my blue square.

To give the card a bit of depth, I added the galaxy background to the scallop square using foam tape.

For my “card base”, I cut the Fortune Envelope main piece from white cardstock and folded it together. Then I added the scallop square to the area with the slit, making sure I had no adhesive on the right side of the slit (the thinner area).
This meant I could still close the flap using the slit, making it function like a card.

Inside my card I added a sentiment, using the left over blue heart and a scallop square using some light brown cardstock. A perfect place to add a little note, money or maybe adapt it to be a cute Valentine’s gift?
