Stamp Highlight | Baked with Love

My project for today are these adorable treat bags featuring the adorable Baked with Love stamps and dies.

My bags were made by cutting wax paper using the Favor Bag dies, making sure I had paper around the pieces I was going to use, so they didn’t directly touch my cutting plates.

Then I cut the large scallop rectangle from the favor bag die set from white cardstock, then trimmed it down to fit across the bottom of my bags, which gave me somewhere to place my critters.

Once I had colored my images, see which colors I used at the bottom of this post, I cut the out with the matching dies.

I knew I wanted to add some heat embossed sentiments to my bags before I assembled them, but to figure out where they needed to go, I placed all my pieces in my MISTI and moved them around till I was satisfied. Then removed them before stamping down the text and white heat embossing it. Careful with the heat on the paper.

Then I could finally assemble all my pieces, first the bag and then the images.

I folded the bottom of my Favor Bag flat on the back since I didn’t need much space for my cookie, but there’s plenty of room for even more treats!

To keep the bags closed, I decorated some gold clamps with a few branches cut with the Winter Taggins dies, and a bow from the Basic Set.
