I am totally in love with these pandas!
For my highlight project I used as many pandas as I could, and added them to the Star Grid Window die.
I started off my card by stamping, coloring and die cutting a whole bunch of pandas – Doesn’t take long at all since half of the coloring is done for you with the black stamping.
For the stars I water colored a full galaxy background in pinks, purples and blues for a variation in color, splattered it with white and silver paint to create the starry effect. When it was fully dry I cut it using the new Star Grid Window die. I also cut the background from white cardstock, which I glued to my cardbase.
Then I could use it as a guide for where to place my stars, which I popped up with a bit of foam tape.

As I popped up my stars, I didn’t want my pandas to stick out too much. That is why I taped each of them to a star in the Star Grid Window die, making sure enough of it was inside the window, and then ran it through my big shot. This gave me pandas with just the right cutout shape to be placed on the matching star. For the one with balloons in the middle, I simply placed the balloons so they were sticking out through the window.
For the sentiment I used the Hilly Hello die, cut from some matte silver cardstock, and cut the bottom off in a matching curve. Then I could attach it with a few small pieces of foam tape.
Hi Mette,
Those little pandas are so cute…I love your starring line-up!😉👏🏻
