I simply love Aida Zamora’s illustrations, and as soon as I saw these adorable ballerinas, I knew I had to do some no line coloring.
So I started off my card by stamping my images with the Ink on 3 Fadeout ink, and colored them with my Copics. Then I cut them out with the matching dies.
The sentiment was stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with some silver embossing powder, then die cut with one of the Sentiment Strip dies.
The rest of my card is almost all die cutting.
From the back layer and out, I have a piece of matte silver cardstock cut to 4 ¼ x 5 ½ inches with the Galactic Cover die on top, which was cut from white cardstock and then ink blended with a bit of tumbled glass Distress Oxide, leaving the top a bit lighter than the bottom.
Then I cut two cloud borders with the Landscape Trio die, one from vellum and one from white cardstock. These I attached to the window panel, which is the Sky Bursters die, cut from a piece of light gray cardstock. Then I popped up the window and cloudsusing some foam squares.
Then I could add my stamped pieces, starting with the ballerinas on the clouds, the sentiment in the “sky”, and finally the bow at the top of the window.
