Today is the final stamp highlight for the April Release – the Mini Everyday Messages stamp set.
I loooove mini sentiments – and this set especially as it has so many great ones, as well as sentiments for interactive cards, what’s not to love?
Todays project is another fairly clean and simple one, where I have combined the sentiments with the adorable Little Mermaiden Agenda stamps and dies, the gorgeous Scales Cover die and the previously released Madison Avenue tag dies.

To create my tags I started by cutting the Scales Cover die out of white cardstock a few times. Then I could cut out the Madison Avenue tag with the window out of the same piece of cardstock, trying to align it so I had the scales pattern centered on my tag. Then I used a silver gel pen to dot my way along the scales, making them more visible. I also used the gel pen to fully color in the circle around the window cut by the tag die.
While I was waiting for that to dry completely, I cut the Madison Avenue tag without the window from colored cardstock and heat embossed the sentiments using silver embossing powder. There’s sentiments for so many different occasions, I’m sure you can find something suitable for almost anything.

Then I dove into my pile of colored Little Mermaidens and picked some that went well with the sentiements.
Then all I had to do was assemble the tags by tying them together with some twine and adhere the little mermaiden image.
