Stamp Highlight | Cupcake Wishes

Today I am showing you my card featuring the new Cupcake Wishes stamps and dies from Mama Elephants new March Release. 

I started my card by stamping and coloring the unicorn cupcake top with light Copic-safe ink, so I could do no line coloring with my Copics. 

I stamped the cupcake wrapper with Pumice Stone Distress Oxide ink, as well as the sentiment from Birthday Messages. 

Then I die cut all my parts – the cupcake with the matching dies and the sentiment with the new Sentiment Strips Dies. 

For my background, I cut a piece of light blue cardstock to fit my card base. Then I cut a piece of white cardstock with a die from the previously released Sew Fancy Creative Cuts.

Then I used a heart stencil to add hearts with some glimmer paste, before adding the white panel to the blue cardstock using foam squares.

Then I added the cupcake on top, before finishing with the sentiment. I cut the sentiment strip diagonally a few times to add a bit of interest, gluing a few pieces to the card leaving a bit of space between them.

Finally I added a few star sequins as sprinkles on the cupcake.
