Today we’re featuring the new Birthday Messages stamp set. I decided to use it to make a background for the amazing new Big Happy Birthday die.
To make my background I die cut a piece of light gray cardstock with the biggest die from the new Sweet Feline die set.
Then I started stamping my sentiments from Birthday Messages using Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide – I simply lined them up using the grid in my stamping platform, leaving a little space between the beginning and end of the different sentiments.
After I finished stamping the sentiments I used the smallest star from the new Wish Upon A Star stamp set and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide to stamp small blue start in between the sentiments.
To make the Big Happy Birthday die cut stand out beautifully, I cut it from both light blue and gold cardstock, gluing the gold on top of the blue slightly offset.
To bring a little more cuteness to the cards I colored up a few monkeys from the Little Monkey Agenda Stamps and die cut them.
Then I simply glued my sentiment in place, making the monkeys climb around it having fun, and stuck the background onto a card base.
